Before you read... and so you read... To share their quirks, I tag the following: (I only know three people who blog besides the ones that allready got tagged by Kietra) Liesel, Shayna, Andi
#1 - I have to count everything!! At any given time at church I can tell you how many people are on the stand, how many lights are in the chapel, how many lines in the wood grain, or how many people are in attendance. I am lucky if i hear any of a talk between counting and my kids.
#2 - I also like for things to be in patterns. when I am counting people I like for them to be girl -boy -girl -boy and if that is not possible it is okay for it to go adult - child - adult - child. i really get frustrated when ratios do not match up. Wierd - I know. It really gets interesting when I try to make a pattern out of the lines on the highway.
#3 - I can go out in public looking like anything - sweaty, wet hair, pajamas even if I have to - but I can not stand it when I go somewhere and my daughter's hair is not done. I can tell you I will be late for my class at the gym before I show up with Addie's hair not done - sorry Laura!
#4 - Not to put pressure on anyone (and I don't want to hear all about this if I am every late) but I have a thing about being punctual. Probably because I am a big stresser and to think about being late sometimes makes me get antsy. I do not like to wait for people and I do not like the feeling of not being on time. To the point where I get nervous and then hot and then sweaty. this is only sometimes but a weird quirk none the less. It really depends on where I am going.
#5 - I have this thing (probably an OCD thing like the counting) where I replay scenarios in my head over and over a bunch of different ways mostly involving bad situations like car crashes, people breaking into my house, etc. It is very bad!! I don't know why I do it. Or if something happens like someone is late I immediately start thinking about what could have happened and envision a hundred different scenarios. I am a little crazy. My mind never stops between the counting and this.
#6 - I am just really exsposing my dirty little secrets here huh? Maybe I can think of a more light hearted one. Hmmmmm. I can not wear socks to bed. Even if it is freezing outside and we were camping. I could not wear them. Brian does not appreciate that. Everynight in the winter he gets a cold surprise when my icy feet touch his and every night it is the same, "Dang kim, you are freezing, get those things away from me!" I can't help it. It is a quirk.
