Callen had tubes in his ears in December. I know these posts are a little out of order but I am just trying to get everything in here. That is what happens when you are not very good at updating your blog. Anyway, he had tubes in his ears and he was being so so good until he had to put that silly gown on. This kid (in December anyway) had the hardest time getting dressed. he would never let us take his clothes off whether it was taking is jammies off in the morning or trying to put them back on at night. So here we are in the surgery center Brian and I each have a hand prying his fingers from the edges of his clothes as he is trying to keep them on his body and then we have our other hands trying to put that gown on. The whole time until the doctor came to take him away he was trying to get that gown off. It was crazy and he was throwing rediculous fits. The whole tubes process was very fast. We had barely made it to the waiting room before they came to get us to go and see him. He was having a hard time keeping his head up and it would fall so I had to cradle him like a baby. We had brought a drink for him since he could not have anything all morning before the surgery and he was still under the anesthesia and he could not get the cup to his mouth. It kept making it to his chin or his nose or even just to his chest. It was so funny and we felt bad for laughing so we finally helped him get a drink. he was a good boy overall and so Addie asked if we could go to McDonalds because Callen was so good. We have really seen a change in Callen's behavior and moods. he does not seem to throw as many tantrums. he is a good boy but when he throws a fit, man does he go all out. This has calmed down a lot since the tubes. We love our little boy!!!

YOu know just where to find me. And by the way your kids are adorable. I can't believe how big they are.

Has tubes really made that much difference in Callen's mood? That is so sad to think what it must have been like day to day for him, right? Boy, you're a bad mother. I love you. Visit my new blog sometime and we'll be blog friends.
