Where does time go?

Thanks Giving is this week? I can not believe that.

Cooper is pulling himself up on EVERYTHING! The funny part is sometimes he gets up and can't figure out how to just sit back down and gets upset that he is stuck standing up. I laugh at him as I set him down and he immediately pulls himself back up. He crawls every where and can get where ever he wants and is such a big boy? Will he really be 8 months next week? Wow where does the time go.

We have had a beautiful, warm fall this year and I have loved every minute of it. I did not have the air or heat on in my house for over a month and just had to turn the heater on last week. It has been a dreamy fall. I am not a very good photographer but the kids enjoyed the leaves and being able to spend so much time out side.

Addie had her primary program last Sunday and she did such a great job. She looked adorable too. She had a beautiful woven half ponytail and she thought she was pretty gorgeous. I love that. She was standing on the stage and during a song she would give her hair a little throw over her shoulder or strike a little pose or do a little hair flip. I loved it. Plus I was totally that Mom that was beaming from the audience and telling her through hand motions (that I am sure now were distracting to everyone around me) to smile, sing louder, pay attention, fold her arms, be reverent. The whole works. She did a great job and she is such a beautiful girl.

Another thing that we have been doing this fall is a preschool program at home. It is so much fun. I can't say that I have been very faithful at doing it every day but when we do it, it is a blast. Addie has gotten so good with letters and is so much fun to teach. She has been getting creative with how she uses letters and I love the way her imagination works. She wrote her whole letter to santa (it took me about an hour of telling her how to spell things but she did it all by herself) and she helped Callen figure out how to spell their names with train tracks all by herself. I thought is was very creative because it is hard to make train tracks cooperate I think so I am very proud of her.

I feel very happy and content. Besides all the millions of things going on in my head that I feel I have to get done, things are pretty calm around here and I am enjoying this time of year.

I can't believe how big all your kids are getting! I was just thinking about how it seems not long ago that we were having Thanksgiving with you guys and Callen was falling asleep while eating his pie!

So cute! And Callen is so big! Addie's hair is beautiful. You'll have to show me how you did that when we see you in January (!).
