So sometimes your kids talk and it ends up being a whole five minute long description of something and you are supposed to be very very interested the whole time so you shake your head and "uh-huh, oh" a lot and "that is cool" and so on and so forth. So I was sitting in my room writing a letter to a girl i visit teach and watching the kids play in the back yard through my window when I decided to open the window and check on the kids. Callen heard the window and stepped back (because he was digging next to the house) and said,
"Hi mom, I am just digging in this house I made for frogs. It is not really a house for a rabbit because it is too little. The house for the rabbits is in the front yard (I did not know that, I was unaware I had a hole the size for rabbits in my front yard) so this hole is just pretty little so I guess if like baby rabbits wanted to live here that would be okay (said with a squinted eye and crooked smile like he was contemplating letting baby rabbits live there) they would probably fit in here and quite like it. I wonder if the frogs would mind. Probably not but i think rabbits, as long as they were babies, would like it here too..." He just kept talking (on and on and on) and I just kept nodding, loving every second of this and loving that he was loving spending time outside. Too funny, too cute!
