THE CASE OF THE MISSING CAKE

HAPPY SCOOBY DOOBY DOO BIRTHDAY CALLEN!
Callen had a "boys only" scooby doo birthday this year. He had 3 friends over and when they arrived they found out a spooky spider stole the birthday cake and they had to solve the mystery to get it back. I have a funny video of this as all the boys just stared at me with blank faces in complete silence until Callen finally said, "No, my cool cake is in the fridge." I told him to look and he was STUNNED to see it was missing. So then all the boys got excited and I told them the spooky spider told me if they played a fun game of basketball they would get a prize and a clue. So off they ran, We then played a grooling game of try to eat the chocolate donut off the string and got another clue and then we played an intense game of bounce the ping pong ball into the basket and then the spooky spider offered another clue after a fantastic dinner of pizza and kool-aid. Finally after all the presents were opened the last clue was obtained and their scooby bags were full of scooby snacks and prizes. Here is how the spooky spider was caught...

Finally the cake was retrieved and strawberry deliciousness was shared by all (after I convinced this group of boys that it really was a cake. They thought it was fake, i guess that is a compliment to me!!)

Callen and his friends Connor, Henry, and Carter

Here is the culprit! After this picture, when it had been well established that Cooper was the spooky spider) I took the hat part off of Cooper and Carter exclaimed, :It really WAS Cooper!" We were laughing so hard.
so the case of the missing Cake was solved and a great time was had by all!! We love our 4-year-old and hope to find something to channel his energy soon!!!
