Oh yes, Potty training!!!!
This is the third try with Callen. The first was unsuccessful because he was just not ready. The second got interrupted with a lazy mom on bed rest. Now the goal, Be potty trained before the 3rd birthday and before baby brother is born.
DAY 1
pooped in undies before 9:00 in the morning
3 successful trips to the potty
peed in his room
peed in Addie's room
peed in My room
3 Successful trips to the potty
Pooped in undies again (right when Brian got home, Sweet!)
2 more successful trip to the potty
whew! day one I would not call a success but it is done and now it is time for a diaper for bed!
Day 2
a little better.
He made it successfully enough times to move his guy to the end of the train and get a surprise! Every time he goes in the potty he moves this guy one box car closer to the conductor car. When he reaches that car he gets a surprise. If he has and accident then he has to put his guy back to the beginning. When he reaches the conductor car successfully I add another box car at the end so it is more of a challenge as he gets better. He did really good yesterday with only two accidents. So far he still refuses to poop in the potty.
Day 3

I love the train idea! Leah would like that too. You are so patient. After two unsucessful pees and a poop in the pants I call it quits and put a diaper on her! Thank you for the inspiration. Like you, we obviously need to get going with the potty training!
