6 weeks all ready?

Six weeks have flown by so fast. Sometimes in the moment it is so hard and you think it is never going to end, but I all ready find myself missing that tiny tiny little baby that would scrunch his little legs to his chest and stretch his scrawny, chicken like arms over his head and then curl up and go to sleep when he snuggled with his mommy.

Of course he still sleeps a lot but 6 weeks is a mile stone for sure. He is sleeping at least 5 hours at a time at night. Usually more. He chats with us now with cute noises. I have still yet to get a smile which I have been working on every day. He holds his head up so good and loves to look at EVERYTHING. He is such a joy to have around and I am simply infatuated with him. I wish sometimes everything else would just fade away and I could just sit and hold him and stare at him. He is beautiful and he is perfect. Six weeks have come and gone and that is crazy. We love you

He looks a little silly in this photo but here he is working so hard to lift his head and look around. He is soooo good at tummy time!
