Cooper's Big Day

Cooper is still such an amazing blessing in our lives. He is sweet, cuddly, adorable, kind, and fun.
He turned one today and the kids LOVED telling him every 10 minutes that it was his birthday. We have a rule in our house that you get to do whatever you want on your birthday (for the most part). So Cooper was about to play in the toilet and Brian said, "Oh, Cooper, Yucky don't play in there." And Addie was quick to remind him, "Daaad, it is his birthday, He can do whatever he wants!" Maybe we need to redefine our birthday rule!!

Cooper is walking all over the house and is busy ALL the time. It is hard to keep him still. As you can see from the pictures below he is all over the yard and likes to do everything his older siblings do. He imitates Callen playing all types of ball. He imitates Addie as she dances around the room. He imitates me and holds things to his ears and talks. And he RUNS to his Dad to give him hugs when he walks through the door.

Cooper HATES his high chair but loves to sit in the booster chair at the Tables. I guess he felt left out. He only likes real food and wants exactly what we are eating. He absolutely knows if I am trying to trick him with baby food.

He loves to play pat-a-cake, dance, give high fives, play in the toilet or with the toilet paper, and play in the bedrooms with his brother and sister.

There is never a moment of the day that I am not taken aback by his absolute perfectness and stunning cuteness. I catch myself staring at him all the time and being enthralled by his actions, and find such joy by just watching him for a minute.

SO SWEET! Happy birthday big boy!!
