Roof

Sunday April 3rd was a BEAUTIFUL day, except maybe for the wind. We were opening presents for Cooper's birthday and we had all the windows open, enjoying the warmth and breeze. We were oohing and awing over Cooper when all of a sudden there was a huge loud noise and I see shingles on my deck. We went outside and there were shingles on the grass as well. Quite a few shingles were blown off in the wind. Of course we were shocked and then realized of course something like this would happen right when we get an offer on our house. So I thought we would have a few days to fix it but I just got a phone call and our inspection is tomorrow. So... Brian is coming home early to nail shingles back on our roof and we just hope the weather will be more calm this afternoon. It should be fine because he will be home about 4:00, Agent coming at 5:30 to sign papers, Soccer Practice at 6:00 and somewhere in between we need to have dinner and family home evening. I love these kind of crazy nights. At least I have some time now to prepare for this evening.
